Our first spinach has been picked, and a few radishes too!!!!

Ground Breaking

Today a group of us got together for the official groundbreaking here at KPG.

Whatever is foreseen in joy

Must be lived out day to day.

Vision held open in the dark

by ten thousand days of work.

Harvest will fill the barn; for that

the hand must ache, the face must sweat.

And yet no leaf or grain is filled

by works of ours; the field tilled

and left to grace. That we may reap,

great work is done while we're asleep.

Things are Popping !!

Keller Park Unity Garden is Growing . As fast as donations of blocks & dirt come in they enlarge the garden . Radishes , Peas , are already popping up .

Delivered some blocks to Keller Park Garden donated by Sara . These will be used for raised beds . Its a great start . Another Unity Garden on its way . Local Healthy Food !! Grown right here in South Bend .

Compost
